  Monitor DVCPRO HD through Kona LHE or Matrox MXO

  All my footage is Dvcpro HD injested via Firestore FS-100 from the HVX200. I do not need to capture from a deck and tend to master out at another facility or go directly to SD DVD. Matrox MXO is the most ecconomical way to view image on an SD and a HD monitor for color grading. Although, the Kona LHE adds additional abilities, not sure if I need them at this time. What am I missing as I try to decide between the 2?

  Also, as I consider future options – say the Red Camera comes out and I shoot 2k, the Kona LHE will most likely need to be upgraded anyway??? So perhaps there is no need to spend the extra cash now.

  Appreciate any thoughts on this or peoples opinions if you’ve worked with the LHE or MXO.
