    Hi there,

I have just got a new monitor (JVC DT-V24L1) that, in theory, will do blue check (in addition to R & G). Unfortunately, pressing the button for this results in a “no effect” message on the screen. The phase and chroma dials are also seemingly not effecting what the monitor is showing? ( I am working on a Mac Book Pro – 2.1 GHz intel core 2 duo)

I’m guessing this is a limitation of the DVI connection. Unfortunately I don’t have any other input options besides DVI.
Any possible workarounds? or ideas about if the DVI connection is the problem?

All feed back is much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

I believe the Matrox MXO2 is a good monitoring solutions for laptops.

You can’t do color grading with a monitor plugged into a mac. You need an i/o card/device between the mac and the monitor for accurate display.

Thanks Rob and Ernie for the feedback. I am looking into picking up a Matrox unit.

    Best regards,
