I’m using a Dell LCD monitor, roughly 2 years old. What is the best way to calibrate that monitor? Should I adjust the controls (brightness, contrast, etc.) directly on the monitor or should I adjust them through the computer, I guess via the graphics card? Does it matter? I have a low budget shoot coming up on Saturday and any advice on getting the most accurate image is appreciated. Thanks.
