so can we say basicly that working with beta deck and the Mojo means that even material shot on Betacam can be edited without being compressed (1:1)?
can i use the same mojo that i have now connected to the PC , use it with my mac too ?

    thanks in advance

    Yes, with qualifiers.

As long as you bring the video into the Avid via RGB, your getting ‘uncompressed’ footage. If you use composite (which, by it’s very nature compresses the three components of the RGB color space into one spigot) you’ll still get uncompressed footage, but not as good as RGB.

    It’s never easy, is it?

Yes, I believe a Mojo is a Mojo is Mojo, works on PC or Mac, as does the dongle
