Mogrts Profoundly Slow in PP 14.0
I’m on a iMac Pro running Catalina with 64 gigs of RAM.
When I drop even the simplest Mogrt (e.g.–bare-bones lower third) into my timeline, PP runs almost uselessly slow. Even if I go to 1/4 resolution. When I try to make any edits, PP appears to freeze. Eventually after a few tries the playhead begins to move, but once again at a snail’s pace.
I’ve tried this with a variety of Mogrts, with the same results. They are, at the moment, effectively useless.
Any ideas?

Hey David,
Have you deleted out the Motion Graphics Templates Media Cache folder? I’ve forgotten to do this before, and it cleared up a lot of lag for me.
Have you tried to rolled back to a previous version of Premiere Pro to see if the version you’re running is the culprit?
