  • Mograph – Texture Each Cloned Object Separately?

Posted by Biggie on June 27, 2007 at 1:43 am

    Hi everyone,

Sorry if this has been answered before. I’ve created an animation using Mograph and a Cloner Object. Basically I have one plane being cloned into 30 planes, and I need each plane to have it’s own separate texture.

I know I could make the object editable, but that loses the animation.

    Any help?

There are two ways you can go about it without making it editable. One, you can duplicate your plane 30 times under the cloner and texture each one individually.

Or two, you use the mograph multi-shader to assign different materials to each clone.

The former method is more straightforward and predictable in my experience.
