Mograph Text/ Step Effector Issue
I have a Mograph text object with the step effector added to it. When I change the parameters to affect position, scale, or rotation, the effector affects all but the very first letter (even though it is within the falloff box.) Does anybody have a resolution to this very frustrating issue? Thanks in advance.

That’s what the step effector does though, it applies an ever increasing effect based on the index of the clone, just modify the spline to control who it affects the objects from the first to the last.

Or.. you can also just increase the ‘offset’ parameter to ‘2’ in the Cloner Object. You may need to adjust the position of the cloner to get it back in place, but all your objects will now move based on an offset of the first object (which isn’t visible anymore).

i have the same problem, think this pic will help…what parameter sets the amount of objects that it can effect, not sure if its in the step effector setting or my text object…bogglin me

its in the step effector palette.. the effector spline has to be even.
