mograph spline and volume effector issues
hi guys, im just doing some tests with spline effectors.
basically, i have a tube of spheres cloned (200) and im using a spline effector to sweep them over into some text which is a spline, so the text is now covered in spheres.
the problem is i now want to sweep them off the text and use the 200 spheres to fill an object.. is this possible? i thought volume effector might be the right one to use but i guess its not. instead of dropping the spline tect into the
any tips would be much appreciated.

The volume effect doesn’t do what you’re thinking it does. It just affects P/S/R of any object inside the volume.
What I would do would is:
* Create a matix object with the same particle count as your cloner;
* Set the mode to Object/Volume and reference the geometry you want the clones to fill;
* Apply an inheritance effector to move the clones from the spline to the matrix particles (make sure “morph motion object” is checked).
