I have a question about this wonderfull tut by Mylenium.

In the hair sample file you have a spline named; Tracer converted this spline is linked to the hair. But how do you get the hair animated like it’s growing? i don’t see any keyframes set for the hair object.

thanks for all your good tuts!

I don’t have the file, and I’m sure Mylenium will be along, but there’s also a length parameter in the hair material. Might give that a look-see.

Like Adam said – growth/ length is a material property, you have to animate it there.

    Thanks,
i did’t see it because if you click show animated in the time line you don’t see the keyframes of the matrials, only for the key’s for the cloner object.

Go to the tutorials and click on by Find Articles By Author, and click on Mylenium 3th tut from the top: Painting with Light: The Tracer Object
