I have a sphere inside a cloner… set to grid array. At some point I want the sphere to melt… so it appears all the spheres are melting at the same time.

I drop a Melt deformer as a child of the sphere and animate the deformation. But with the Sphere as a child of the Cloner the cloned spheres always appear completely deformed, as if it is only seeing the final keyframe of the Deformation Strength.

I have turned the Fix Clone on and off. Nothing changes. If I make the Melt deformor a Child of the Cloner instead of the sphere, I get the defomation over time but the spheres at different points on a Y-Axis deform and drop to the Y-Axis Point of the deformer.

Is there a way to get all my Spheres to deform as I need?

    Thanks

    TAK

Works for me but I did it the other way around. Make the Melt a child of the sphere, set the Y-pos of the Melt so it’s at the bottom of the sphere, drop those into the Cloner. It works the other way (add the Melt to the Cloned sphere) too, it’s just a bit trickier aligning the Melt but both ways they all melt when the strength is adjusted.
