As you can see in the capture, I have a linear falloff on the plain effector. This falloff controls the color of the cloner (the color is kind of a rainbow gradient). When I move the falloff to the right, the left spheres will be out of it and all keep the same color (the first color of the gradient of course) but I don’t want this. I don’t know how to achieve this but I want to create an animation where the gradient moves to the right but loop perfectly. For example, as soon as the yellow color leaves the grid at the right, it is back to the left side.

I don’t know if I’m clear enough but thanks in advance!

Btw I’m using Octane render but with or without I think the solution will be the same.

Use a Shader Effector instead of the Plain Effector.
Set the Falloff to linear and then on the Shading quick tab set the shader to gradient and apply the preset.
Now animate the OffsetU parameter under “Mapping” on that same tab.

I’ve made everything you told me but nothing happened when I change the offset value.

Okay, after tweaking some parameter of the cloner and shader object I finally did it.

Thanks a lot for your help!
