i know how to go from an object to a spline, but say i wanted all my clones to be on the surface of a cube, and then move to the surface of a sphere, how do i switch from one to the other seamlessly?

Clone matrix object particles onto the sphere (object mode) and then use an inheritance effector (check the “morph motion object” box) to move your clones onto the matrix object.

Set the same count for the cloner and matrix object.

    Hi Adam,

Trying to get cloned objects to transition from the surface of one mesh to another.

I’m trying to follow your directions but “Clone matrix object particles onto the sphere” loses me.
Would you mind taking a minute to walk me through this like a dummy?

I would be grateful for any assistance.

    Thank you,
    Scott
