Hello all, I’m animating some text with the mograph module and want the letters to fade in over time, how can i do that? I’ve messed with the visibility option and step effectors but nothing seems to do the trick!!??

You need to use MoGraph’s Color shader in the transparency channel of your material.

Arrgh. nope, cant figure it out. I’ve set put the color shader in the alpha channel of a material, put it on the text object and messed with it but can’t figure out how to make it do anything, and the manual doesn’t make me any smarter…
Mylenium, do you cover this in your fantastic mograph tutorial? i must have missed it!!??

Don’t know if this solves it, but Mylenium said to use it in the transparency channel and not the alpha channel. You could try switching it.
