Im making a trailer with a logo from an Ice Hockey team that comes smashing through a ice wall. Ive set it up per the shatter window tut in cinerversity, ie Logo is cloner object with modynamics tag, ice wall is fracture object, also with tag. It looks good, and breaks up properly. My problem is some of the individual shards of ice fly away, spinnig way too fast, and looking totally unrealistic, while others break away in a (physically) very realsitic way. Who can suggest a way to make all the fracture objects behave more or less the same?
    Thanks in advance
    Simon

Can you give the “problem” shards their own tag? If so you could slap a display or compositing tag on it and turn the visibility to camera off at the moment of shattering.

I’ll second that request, since I’ve run into this aswell. Could it be “Collision Noise” under the Collision tab of the Rigid Body tag?

The first thing I would do is go to edit>project settings>MoDynamics>Advanced and increase the substeps setting. If that doesn’t do it you might need to adjust linear and angular damping in the tag’s Force tab and/or lower the bounce parameter int he collision tab.
