Modify Settings and other Voodoo
A bit of a head scratcher here.
My current workflow consists of:1 – Four channels of audio
2 – Synchronize Clips based on audio using default settings (this is where the problem starts)
3 – Find slate and mark
4 – Find associated R3D clip and mark slate point
5 – Connect R3D into newly created Sync Clip
6 – Match marks and double check for time slipNow the issue is that Ive done this to over 200 Sync clips.
Then I realized the Sync clips were based on default which is 720p.
Not a big deal if your planning of editing in 720p.
But my rough edit timeline should be 4K HD (I’m being stubborn, I know I can scale up later) correct?
When I try to back track and use Modify Settings, all the clips are stuck at 60p and won’t change to 23.98p.
Sure I can start over and set all this up correctly or just edit into a 4K HD 23.98p Project but whats the fun in that 🙂
Does anyone know of a quick and dirty fix by selecting all the problem clips and changing to whatever settings? As far as the mess of audio sync, don’t ask.
Let’s just say that some folks owe me a big fat gift this coming holidays 😉
