Hello ☺ I’m a beginner in c4d and I’m making my very first project when I came into this modelling problem which I couldn’t solve
when I apply a texture I find some polygons are darker than others like in this photo

    help1.jpg

and it’s getting worse when I use subdivision surface

    help2.jpg

all the polygons are set normals and the projection of the texture is set to cubic
is there any way to fix this

To me that looks like polys or points from the inside are projecting through the outer surface. And they may have different lighting on them because their normals may be facing the opposite way the normals on the surface are (so you are technically seeing the inside while still on the outside.
