  Modeling a fan coral building wrap

  Hey guys!

  I’m modeling a high-rise building, no problem there. But, I’m creating a three dimensional architectural facade on the building that is very similar to the candle holder in this image:

  I need some suggestions in modeling this in such a way that it looks organic and random. The tendrils of the facade need to be random in thickness, but taper to a point at the distal points.
