    Hello,

We are in the middle of a shoot in Montana in a remote location on the Northern Cheyenne reservation.

Using the Panasonic HVX200p camera (using P2 16 gig card). The mode button and the menu button will not respond. I have tried resetting the camera. Please write with any suggestions.

    With appreciation, Mary Ellen

Was the camera dropped or something? Maybe it sustained some damage.

We had a similar problem last year with our 200. First it started locking up on the thumbnails and then the buttons didn’t work. Cycling the power helped for a while, but eventually we got a solid green screen on the lcd and nothing else. We had to send it to Panasonic for repair and haven’t had a problem since.

Hope that doesn’t happen to you.
