    Hey Everyone I have a client that supplied me with mostly .MOD files. What are these? whats the best way to go forward from here? Im cutting on Final Cut pro 6.06 on Mac Snow OS X. Thanks

    Best is to use Google. In two minutes I found that .mod files are basically mpeg2 and can be converted using Mpegstreamclip to a FCP edit friendly codec.

    Ditto, .ASF can be converted using Flip4Mac.
