MOCHA PRO 3.1.1 Spline Expansion?
Posted by Riccardo Sinti on October 31, 2013 at 5:45 pmI wan’t to expand my spline uniformly much like AE Masks have an Expansion property.
Is this possible.
I don’t want to scale the spline and i’m not talking about edge width either.I want my spline to expand all around uniformly.
Thanks!

October 31, 2013 at 6:12 pmmochaPro’s Scale Tool should do the trick although I’m not certain why you have a requirement not to have scaling as a solution.
FWIW, AE’s Mask Expansion works by scaling the mask from its center. Mask Expansion also works on the entire mask and neglects selected vertices. In mocha, the Scale Tool work on the entire spline or selected vertices and the scale center is user-definable.

October 31, 2013 at 6:18 pmI want to expand the spline boundaries not scale the whole thing.
The difference is noticeable when applying to odd shapes.

October 31, 2013 at 7:22 pmIf you use the transform tool and hold shift + option key, you can do a global scale from center by clicking on the corner and dragging.
I believe what you want is different and currently not available within mocha. Easiest thing is to grow the mask from AE or another app.
I can log this as a feature request.
