there is an excellent clip in a site called mk12 (https://media2.mk12.com/mk12_version_five.html) the clip is in the 2004 section and called “funkstorung:sleeping beauty”- i was wondering how the text was animated- there my guesses are by the write on effect and stroke or 3d stroke but i tried to do something similiar and its very hard,
By the way the font is not an existing font right? i hope someone can help me to understand how it was done-thanks.

No. This does not involve any sort of stroking effect most likely. Either it’s simply 3D layers scaled to form the extensions of the letters or it’s done entirely in a 3D program with a similar technique. You can find similar fonts such as the one used on the web in many flavors. Search for “pixel font”, “bitmap font” or “digital matrix font”.
