    Hello again,

I’m looking for some input and solutions to a problem (I think it is a problem) that shows up in the preview screen when I intermix video formats.

I shot an even with 3 standalone SD cams. Footage is fine and looking great for what it is. I then had to return to the scene to pick up some B Roll footage and grabbed a small HD cam to acquire it.

What’s showing up on the “Preview Screen” is a plain RED color, not the video that’s been dropped into the timeline. I know the footage is there, but it’s not showing up in the preview screen when screening the edits.

    Format size problem?
    Interlace problem, (full 1080-P footage)
or will the footage render fine and it’s just a preview screen problem?

Also, I’ve seen Sony displayed with 2 (or multiple) preview screens on advertising vids, and I can’t for whatever reason seem to find the place to make that happen on my system.

Thanks for any help or directions you can offer.

    JL

If it moves . . . Shoot it!
