    So… how do you deal with the different field dominance characteristics of HD and SD (upper field/lower field) when you mix HD and SD resolutions on a timeline? I’ve never understood this and it’s actually causing me a problem now that I have a job w/mixed resolutions. When I export in order to burn a dvd, I can see that there is a field dominance mismatch on either the HD or SD (depending on the setting I choose when I export). What’s the answer? Certainly there’s a work around because mixing resolutions is one of Avid’s big marketing points.
