Mixing Framerates in Multicam – problem
Hello all,
Long time Avid Editor cutting multicam in Premiere Pro CS5 (I know, I know).
2 cams are 23.976 fps, 1 cam is 25 fps. Sequence is setup as 23.976 fps.
The 25fps cam always shows a red render bar above those clips. Sometimes it plays fine, sometimes it hangs. Should I transcode my 25fps footage to 23.976? If I do will that mess up all the syncing I’ve done already? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
FWIW I’m on a MAcBook Pro 2.2ghz i7 with 16 Gigs of RAM and footage on a 1 TB Fantom Drive/Firewire800.
