    Mixing frame rates in M-100

    Hey folks….

    I’m beginning a project that I would like to use different frame rates in the final edit… specifically, shooting 720-30P & 720-24P (nominal). The effect I want to have is typical of what you see when you go from a live news show to a “film-look” commercial. M-100 won’t take mixed clips in the timeline… so, how could I accomplish this?

    How are you planning on distributing? HD or SD?

    If it will be 29.97 then using 60i with pulldown will work, and the 30p will play as psf.

    You can use AE to convert frame rates pretty much however you wish.
