I bought a new MacPro 2.8ghz Nahelem Quad Core with 3gigs of RAM running FCP 7.03. I’m working on a multicam shoot where all of the cameras are different formats; JVC GYHDM100U 720p, Sony A1U HDV, Canon Rebel T2i 1920×1080 24p, Sony PD100 DVNTSC 16:9 and finally a Sony Z7U shooting HDV 1080/24p.
Weird things are happening like the JVC 720p footage constantly gets out of sync. Even if I fix it and have perfect match frame, a few minutes later I play it back and the lips are out of sync again. There are also some weird jump cuts going on in a few spots. If I trim my 3rd layer of footage over the 2nd layer, weird jumps occur. It seems that the 720p footage is the main source of my problems. Below are my project settings. Maybe someone can see the source of the problem in my settings. Thanks

Project settings are Apple Pro Res 422. Sequence preset is HDV-720p24 & output video is NTSC 720×480. My sequence settings are 1440×810 frame size, pixel NTSC-CCIR 601 and compressor is pro res 422 LT.
