Mixing footage in the same sequence

I have footage from Sony EX3 and from RED in 2K
is it possible two mix those two formats in the same sequence in FCP 6.5 ??Thanks!!

January 13, 2010 at 9:37 pmSince RED footage is either converted to ProRes with Log and Transfer or the sequence setting’s compressor is normally set to ProRes, I would convert the sony footage to match the ProRes specs you use for the RED footage. That will give you the lest amount of rendering during editing.

But I have another question,
Since I got two different resolutions one from EX-3 1080×1920 and the red 2K,
my final resolution will be 1080×1920, cause I cant go further in resolution with the EX-3 material.
So the red 2K will be down sized to 1080×1920,
that´s correct?Thanks again !!
