    Hey guys!

So I’m on CS6, and my normal workflow for blurring video is to add an adjustment layer over the video, draw a mask, and then apply one of the blur filters as needed to cover up whatever my producer needs me to. (usually logos, etc).

Now, i’m being asked to add color to the blur? They want to basically do what clone stamp does in Photoshop (except the actual clone stamp in AE doesn’t work since there’s movement in the video) where instead of just blurring it, I use the same color of the shirt a logo is on, to make it dissapear.

Do any of you know how I can do this? I tried adding a color filter to the same layer as the blur but it doesn’t really work. They want something a little more solid.

Any sort of advice helps out guys. Thanks!

Just separate the adjustment layers. Do a fill adjustment layer below the blur adjustment layer. Feathering the mask on the fill layer may help a bit, but imo (and without having seen the image), it’s unlikely to be a better look than just having the blur.
