mixing 24p, 30p and 60i footage in same project
I’m thinking about getting a DVX100b and am confused about the ability I’d have using PPro 1.5 to edit footage together from the various modes within one project.
The presets for projects in PPro 1.5 seem exclusive–EITHER 24p OR 29.97. So if for example I wanted to shoot some interviews in 24p so it’d have that filmic look, and then shoot some b roll with faster motion stuff in 60i or 30p, what preset would I select to preserve the look of both? Or is it just not possible to mix footage shot in different modes within the same project?
Also, any help on what other settings need to be changed wd be very helpful. Thanks a lot-

It’s doable- you simply leave the pulldown of the 24p footage intact and edit everything at 29.97. Remember, no matter what mode you shoot on the DVX100 you’re getting a standard 29.97 DV NTSC signal onto the tape. If you leave the pulldown intact you can edit as standard DV and still get the film look. Details on how this works:
