Mixed mode for BD-R?
Hi,
This is more of a general question about Blu Ray authoring.
Is it possible to author a blu ray disc with video content as well as data content – just as with DVDs it was possible to make a DVD video that included data content (such as .pdf, etc) because it only was dependent on the VIDEO_TS folder being there.
Can I do this with a BD-R? i.e. make a disc that will play in generic blu ray players and have files that can be read from a PC.

Yes. You will see the option for BDROM in the build panel. You must add a folder (not files). The Encore build will rename that folder to “Data,” and the files in the folder will be inside this Data folder on the BD. It is at the root (same level as BDMV and Certificate, so easy for a user to find.
