Mix HD footage to M100HD
Hi, Is it possible to shoot and edit 1080i/24p and 720p/24p on the same timeline in Media 100 HD after capturing? Have not tried yet but one camera arriving is a 720p JVC and the other camera we have is a Canon 1080i. We use a convergent design to get footage to Kona 3. Thanks

I would import all the media and fit to one standard (1080 would be my choice), before starting project. then proceed.

Hi Olof,
Both are from HDV sources from firewire to Convergent to Media100. Are there settings in Media 100 that we need to change upon capturing from tape? I am not sure if it is automatic. I thought that once the settings are made in Media 100, it will convert the video to the specified format you want, like 1080 regardless of the incoming format. Anyways, just trying to get ahead before the camera arrives.
