I just opened a project I have been working on every day.
Today I am missing the ability to open video scopes…it’s greyed out.

    I’m mystified…

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

    David, thanks…

I did that and the scopes were there.
    I wonder that THAT was…

Thank you and Happy New Year.

(I can’t believe how many times I have seen
you come up with a fast solution on this forum btw)

    You’re very welcome!

As far as the issue with the scopes, I’,m pretty sure the moon is retrograde in Pluto with sunspots and there’s a magnetic anomaly somewhere on Earth too. These factors, especially when combined with conspicuous end of the year alcohol consumption, typically cause FCP to behave in bizarre ways.

    David

Although at first I freaked supposing I had inadvertently
hit the wrong button, something that, in the course of a day,
I have been known to do,
I now feel comfortable in attributing the loss to sun spots
as at the moment I called for the beloved scopes,
    I was uncharacteristically conscious.

    Have a splendid New Year.

Almost 5 years to the day later I lost my video scopes in FCP 7 and found this post. This Internet thing is pretty cool!! 🙂
