So I’m trying to do motion tracking, so I selected the preset workspace option Motion Tracking, which should logically open up the motion tracker controls window… but it doesn’t and I can’t find it.

I’ve looked under the Window menu as well and it’s not there either.

Can anyone tell me how to find it?

Oh, I didn’t know it was only in professional… hmmm.

Are there any tracking programs that can export data as xy points to AE?

I’m trying to stabilize a shaky camera move, and I was planning on assigning the tracking data to a camera and then smoothing it on the graph.

    Thanks for the help, though.

i dont know about any other programs to export the tracking data, but ther is also a plug in called steadymove from 2d3, it would reduce or remove the camera shake also. (its not chep though)

check out http://www.2d3.com for more information

check out Syntheyes from ssontech.com we’ve used it on a couple of nice camera matching jobs.

    Hi Adhish and friends,

I’m also facing the same problem. I have made the layer window active (not the composition), and tried looking for ‘window- Tracker Controls’ but it isn’t there. There is only a ‘Tracker’ option.

I am using CS5.5 Production Premium, and I suppose that is equivalent of the Pro version?

Anyone has any advice how to enable this ‘Window Tracker’ option WITHOUT the need to re-install?

Thank u very much for any advice given.
