    Missing Texture Issue

    Hi guys,

    I’ve been having a problem with C4D for the last month or so. Because my animation renders are very lengthy I have to render them overnight at work. However for some reason the video file in one of my textures seems to go missing about quarter of the way through and the missing texture error appears and stops the render. The file is actually on one of the drives in the computer and it will even happen when on the desktop so i don’t think its a loss of connection issue.

    Does anybody have any ideas as to what’s causing the problem, it’s driving me mad.

    No idea what’s causing the problem, but if I was you I’d try using an image sequence instead of a compiled movie: less problematic all around.

    Yeah I already do my renders as an RPF image sequence.
