missing safe title window
For some reason, in one of my projects, I can’t see the safe title window. I’ve checked the View menu, but nothing indicates that I’ve turned it off. It safe title icon appears to be on, but nothing shows up when I click it on and off (or the apostrophe key). Other projects or new projects are fine though….

I had this weird thing happen couple of times,
usually working on BIG projects with a lot of comps inside.
When I quit and restarted AE I could work again to some extent.Or try Purge (edit menu).
I’m on a mac, doesn’t know if it makes a differnet.Best of all – work with a Monitor so you can see what gets chopped (if so ..)

Had the same thing happen – Trashed prefs and all is well again!

hi, i’m having exactly the same problem. how do i trash the pref file? anyone found out why this happens?
