  • missing password on kids’ computer

Hi. My kids have an eMac that I setup for them 1.5 to 2 years ago. I want to upgrade to Tiger, unfortunately, I was a bonehead and put them down as adminstrator and we can’t remember the password. Anyway to work around this or force the computer to give up the password? I would prefer not to wipe out the hard drive, but it could become an option.

Startup off of the OS X, installer disk and choose the “reset password” option from the pulldown menus.
