Missing part of clip in timeline
Hi All,
i have a case of missing frames (or footage on the timeline)
while editing i have two clips on the timeline, i move one clip over the other, as to add a transition between the two clips. However if i do not add a transition, and move the 2th clip back off the first clip, the part of the first clip IS GONE is this normal?
Am i doing something wrong?

Yes, this is normal. When you lay one clip over the other it trims the clip. When you move it back it is still trimmed. The video is not gone, however, and can be seen again by draging the end of the clip out to where it was.

Just was not sure if this was the norm, i used AB editing with pre.6, only started to use one line editing with ppro 1.5.Thanks,
