  • Missing Opacity control?

Odd situation. I’m grading a film, and just ran into a couple of clips on which there is no Opacity control (the same clips are also missing the “Motion” control). I tried copying Opacity from another clip, and pasting to the clips in question (as I’d do with another effect), but that does no good.

What’s going on with these clips. I did not edit the film, so I don’t know if there’s anything different about the clips, or how to tell in any case.

I need the Opacity control in this overlay, if for no other reason than to match the other clips in the sequence.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,
    Nelson

    Try rebooting.

Hmmm, good thought, but just tried it and the Opacity controls are still missing on the same clips. Under “Video Effects” I show:

    > Time Remapping
    > Colorista

but not the usual Motion and Opacity controls, though they are present in every other clip (or at least every other clip that I’ve tried to set Opacity in).

Try this: Delete the clips from project and import again.
