I’m sure there is a simple workflow problem I am overlooking here.

When I opened DaVinci this morning all the media in my projects went missing. All the nodes are still attached but they are attached to black frames. Is there a way to kickstart the program to reload the missing media – like relinking files in an NLE or is there something more I’m missing?

I’m still getting the basics down of this program so excuse me if there is an incredibly obvious solution I’m overlooking. Thanks for any help.

    Here are my specs:

    2×2.66 GHz 6 Core
    34 GB 133 MHz DDR3
    NVIDIA Quadro 4000 2048 MB
    OS X 10.8.4

All media is running through our company network. Never had this issue with DaVinci before, though.

Select all media in the media pool, right click and select “Change source folder”. Drill down to the new location of the folder with your material, select it and then click “change”.
When in doubt, read the manual:-)
