missing mask
hi
has anyone experienced that a paldv masked clip just will not render correctly if the output codec is paldv? the masked output is shown fine in the preview video window, but the outputted file is unmasked! bit wierd or perhaps i’m being dense. this is vegas6b, same on 2 machines tried main concept dv codec and built in vegas one, all have the same problem. if the source file is not paldv codec, it works fine. it seems as if vegas is trying to smart render but forgetting the mask…?thanks for any help

Not sure what the problem is in your case? Just tried it here using a PAL DV clip with another PAL DV on the track above. Set up a mask on the top track then rendered it to a new track and as a PAL DV clip. In both cases it rendered fine, both clips look just as they did in the preview window. Vegas 6.0c here. Will look a bit further, maybe a setting incorrect.
