Missing FW connection
Hi,
I may have screwed myself here by upgrading QT and OS. This morning I upgraded my OS from 10.3.8 to 10.3.9 and my QT from 6.5 to 7.02. I am running FCP 4.5 on a G4 867 and now it says my FW is missing when I start FCP. Does anyone have an answer and a quick fix? Thanks, I’m in a bind and I have a deadline creeping.

Thanks Matte for the quick response! I saw that from an earlier post of yours, but I didn’t think it applied to my situation. Also, I can’t find a “receipts” folder in my library, what am I missing? Thanks again.

A great way to do this is to use “FCP Rescue” a free Apple Script that will Trash the Preferences for you (and restore nearly all of your user settings afterward).
