[Missing] Firewire + immediate crash when opening Log & Capture
l am getting a strange problem. l have just installed FCP 5.1.2 and when l open it l get a message that no firewire device detected and a instant crash when l open log and capture. l am using QuickTime Pro 7.1.3 and have tryed capture through that but it also says it cant detect a deck or camera. So l also tryed to capture through iMovie and had no problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated – many thanks Peter Lewis

Thanks this worked but l also had to reinstall quicktime 7
