I’m doing a tutorial that lead to me adding a glass filter to my text layer. I notice that it is shaded gray (in accessible). I have Photoshop CS2, but I also installed the beta CS3 on this same workstation. CS2 is a full version but CS3 beta is Standard Version. Does my problem have something to do with this beta version being on my system where I can’t access my normal full features in CS2?

How do I get back to my full version? Or, is there another problem?

That is an rgb only filter. Make sure your image is not cmyk or 16 bit.
