Missing Event
I just went through the process of Moving several Events from one computer onto an external. I used Command+Drag/Drop into the external icon within the FCP interface. To save storage space on the external, I started deleting render files from some of the projects before moving the projects over, but then I noticed the timelines going red and saying “Missing Event” (see attached) so I moved the Events back onto the computer to see if that would synch everything back up…no dice. What’s going on?
I understand how to re-link Project files, but how do I re-link a Project to it’s Event?
Any help is most appreciated.

Select the Project in the Project Browser.
In the inspector under the Properties tab, choose Modify Event References.
Point it at the hard drive the Event is now stored.
