missing efx
Hi Guys, all the effects i have set up on my time line (B&W, borders etc) are no longer working and i cant add any new ones!! i am using vegas 6, any ideas fells i tried rebooting my system but no joy! any help appricated. john in dublin

Make sure Split screen view is not enabled.
That icon is located above the preview window,

You’re welcome…But before you upgrade, make sure you have
decent system requirements to run a new version
of Vegas and dont overload it with resource heavy plugins,

Hi Steve, currently i am using a IBM thinkpad lenovo T60, windows xp professional service pack 3, intel core duel t2400 / 1.83 ghz, 1g memory, this is my work computer so has other stuff on it too, like lotus notes ets, do you think this would be ok or could i need a new laptop?? thanks for the advice and forward thinking steve.
