Missing ‘Edit’ tab in FCP 7
I was told to move this to this forum. My Edit tab (top of FCP menu, next Final Cut Pro and File (to right,) which contains ‘cut,paste, copy etc) disappears. I reboot and it comes back and then disappears again. I have tried doing permissions, and trashiing preferences, but no avail. Now am running diskwarrior and will maybe reinstall FCP. Suggestions? I upgraded two weeks ago and it started happening two days ago.

Hmm that’s strange.
I think you’re on the right track with re-installing. 🙁 Post your results when you get a chance. Maybe we can trouble shoot it if that doesn’t work.
