Missing Codec?
Hello all… my OS recently crashed and I had to reinstall it… thankfully an archive and install worked. Everything came back up in ok in Final Cut, except for some reason is doesn’t recognize the HDV firewire codec that I used to capture some footage. I’m sure I picked the HDV 1080i codec… the weird thing is that Easy Setup is there… My error message reads: “Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card.”
