missing audio waveforms
Posted by Henryfelt on May 16, 2006 at 11:30 amIn some projects I see audio waveforms but not in others. Yes, it’s turned on. I’m using fcp5.1 on a macbookpro.
Any idea what I’m missing here?Henryfelt replied 20 years, 3 months ago 4 Members · 8 Replies -

May 16, 2006 at 11:35 amDepending on your zoom level on the timeline and the length of teh clips, waveforms may not show up on some clips until you zoom very far in. Shorter clips will sometimes not show the waveform depending on the zoom level.

May 16, 2006 at 11:38 amThanks Walter, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. It’s more like a bug.

You can trash your Thumbnails and Waveform cache. Definitely no waveforum bug here running FCP 5.0 and 5.1 on multiple systems.
