Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy missing audio waveforms

    Depending on your zoom level on the timeline and the length of teh clips, waveforms may not show up on some clips until you zoom very far in. Shorter clips will sometimes not show the waveform depending on the zoom level.

    Thanks Walter, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. It’s more like a bug.

    Is there actually audio on the clips where the waveforms are missing?

    You can trash your Thumbnails and Waveform cache. Definitely no waveforum bug here running FCP 5.0 and 5.1 on multiple systems.

    Did you try trashing the waveform and thumbnail cache as Walter suggested?

    Yes i did, but still I get x’s. Not on all clips, but almost all regardless of their size.
