    I needed to digitize some DVCPRO HD downconverted to SD at one bay running KONA LHe. Then walked the clips over via a firemax drive to a edit bay that runs a old igniterX G4. When we play the clips in the quicktime player we can hear camera mic and shotgun, but when the clips are in FCP we only hear cam mic and the browser indicates 1 audio track? The clips were digitized NTSC uncompressed 10bit.

    Is that G4 is on Quicktime 6?

    If so, there’s your problem.

    Oh yea. You are correct Sir. Can’t go any higher of a QT because of compatibility with igniterX.
    We did a work around by exporting the audio as AIFF’s independently then droping them into timeline.
