minor irritant
Sometimes when digitizing I like to add a second or two to the in point, just mousing down to the in point, hilite the seconds and then retype the number, but in 5.0 fcp the entire line disappears and when I insert the number it just adds another set of numbers to end of the old – I get the same problem when trying to change the description line on the fly. Nothing major just wondering if it is me

It’s been annoying the heck out of me too.

Yeah, pretty much all the data entry boxes in the Log and Capture window are very sensitive and you blow away entire sentences when you just want to retype one thing.
What I’ve gotten in the habit of doing is selecting the item, then using the left or right arrow to place the cursor at the beginning or end of the line. That way I don’t blow away the entire item.
Very annoying to be sure though.

This “feature” really anoys me but it doesn’t happen in the HDV native codec log and capture window. I hope they fix this soon.
